Manager, Budget Commercial Operations Team – COTY, Professional Beauty

MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Budget Manager for our Commercial Operations Team is responsible for maintaining and reconciling budgets, processing vendor payments and creating PO’s for the Team. The ideal candidate will serve as the liaison and resource for budget owners and Finance regarding budget procedures, deadlines and practices. The budget manager will also manage the purchasing specialists, who will focus on the procurement of marketing-related collaterals. This position will report to the Vice President, Commercial Operations.

RESPONSIBILTIES :

  • Managing the budgets of the Commercial Operations Team (Marketing, Trade Marketing and the Global Elite Loyalty Program).

  • Maintaining sales analysis for Global Elite.

  • Collecting Data from SAP.

  • PO creating and processing.

  • Problem Solving.

  • Maintain expense budget and fixed cost for various departments.

  • Compare actuals to budgeted results at the end of each quarter or as agreed upon with budget owner.

  • Processing and tracking vendor payments.

  • Collaborate with Finance and budget owners for budget restates.

  • Reconciling budgets and approvals of invoices.

  • Monthly communication of tracking accrual and journal entries.

  • ProCard review and reporting to Finance.

  • Prepare monthly budget reports for Finance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with focus in Finance, Statistics, Economics or Business Administration.

  • 3+ years of experience in a complex professional financial support position with responsibilities for tracking and analyzing budget trends.

  • Demonstrable excellence in Microsoft Word and Excel functionality such as pivot tables and v-look-ups.

  • Proficiency in SAP preferred; or at the minimum, individual must be able to learn new accounting systems quickly.

  • Excellent communication and written skills.
