Job Title: Customer Collaboration Senior
A division of Coty Inc.(Calabasas, CA )
The Customer Collaboration manager represents the main point of contact, for designated top customers, on any logistic matter, as the ‘logistic expert’ within the dedicated Coty commercial team. He is also responsible to represent the customers, within the Coty internal team, from a logistic point of view, making sure their specific logistics needs/requirements are known to the Coty Supply Chain team.
The Customer Collaboration manager optimizes the logistics process flows of products/cash/information to the point of purchase, to increase Coty Net Sales and/or lower total supply chain costs at designated top customers, so that joint value is created.
Identifies and leads execution of logistics programs at the customer that deliver joint value.
Delivers innovative supply chain solutions by leveraging in-depth knowledge of the customer’s processes.
Oversees daily mgmt. processes necessary to deliver joint objectives.
Develops strong working relationships with customers sr. management.
Becomes an expert on customer’s supply chain and uses this expertise to make connections that lead to joint value creation.
Sells and executes joint business plan to customer sr. management, which grows Coty volume by reinvesting savings
Leads the Coty internal team and the customers teams in creating a vision of end-to-end supply chain excellence and strategies necessary to deliver the vision (Information Technology, people, processes).
Works closely with operations managers to integrate customers solutions that deliver Coty products to shelf.
Owns deployment and adherence of Coty logistics policies.
Provides competitive intelligence on key competitors and logistics providers to the internal Coty supply chain team.
Contributes to development of new logistics capability by creating, assessing, testing scalable solutions.
Exposes customers/internal teams to relevant supply chain tools and approaches that will improve results.
Reliability – orders completeness and on time delivery
In stock – Out Of Stock reduction, in the customers warehouses and on shelf
Display quality – compliance vs agreed target
Initiatives/new items – speed to shelf
Supply Chain Cost Reduction – inventory reduction, lead time reduction, etc.
Exposure to production environment & interaction of packaging, process, manufacturing
Strong Microsoft excel & Microsoft project capability
Proven track record of successful works in diverse, complex, fast-pace environments
Good knowledge of OSB (Order-Shipping-Billing) processes
Bachelors of Science Degree in a related field (Business, Supply Chain, Science, Finance or Engineering)
Working knowledge of personal computers, intermediate user of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word)
Highly motivated and results driven
Proactive, with a sense of urgency
Strong organizational skills
Solid mathematical and analytical skills
Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Individual will have some knowledge of manufacturing technology, purchasing fundamentals, and good understanding of business financials
Working knowledge and experience with MRP systems (e.g., SAP)
Master’s Degree (Business Administration , Industrial Engineering or related job experience)
Experience of Coty Operations or related industry, pharmaceutical, paint, food, FMCG
Work will be conducted in a standard office environment with associated distractions such as noise from telephones, keyboards, talking, paging systems, machinery and equipment. Temperatures are regulated by facilities management and are not within the direct control of the individual.
Exposure to standard chemicals used in an office environment is expected and includes but is not limited to toner, glue and liquid paper, etc.
