MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will cover a dual role: (i) Manage SoMe strategy and execution for ghd North America. It will also manage Influencer Marketing, PR plans & execution with excellence. (ii) Own Marketing and Commercial activation for Premium Retail channel, including e-Comm customers and SoMe customer activations.
The manager is expected to bring to life with excellence the Brand strategy and innovation masterplan. This role be pivotal within the organization by helping to spearhead fit-for-use for the channel plans, innovative promotions, creation and execution of in-store visual merchandising, but also leading SoMe, Influencer and Digital programs on our ghd platforms and in partnership with top customers.
- SoMe, Influencers and PR:
Develop and manage Influencer Marketing, SoMe strategy and execution on own & top customer platforms.
Manage influencers’ activations and partnerships, including sourcing talent, supply relevant product materials, educational materials, production management, product and asset trafficking amongst PR agency, Celebrity Stylists, Bloggers, etc (plus tracking and reporting results).
Assist with coordinating seasonal and NPD seeding.
Manage seeding list while tracking and reporting results.
Assist with compiling and circulating presentations with marketing and social assets for new product launches, activations, etc.
Assist with management of PR events and activations, including budget tracking, asset management, coordinating scheduling and travel, onsite management plus reporting results.
Manage internal and external distribution of all PR coverage.
Compiling and distributing reports for PR, social activity, events, activations and partnerships on a regular basis.
Day-to-day management of partnerships with professional and consumer Brand Ambassadors.
- Premium Retail Channel Marketing
Develop, manage, and optimize online and in-store marketing programs and promotions.
Collaborate with Sales, manage monthly marketing calendar and promotional execution in retail customers.
Merchandising assets development and distribution to Sales and Customers.
Manage e-commerce and CRM activations for Retail Customers.
Manage digital presence, SoMe postings (seeding and tracking) and activations for Retail customers.
Develop partnerships, dedicated plans and activations with top Retail customers.
Track and report competitive activity in category.
Compile decks for marketing presentations and events.
Own the business in the premium retail channel (collaborate with sales and trade marketing teams to understand sales trends, customer trends and all the elements affecting the business) to drive right choices and action driving topline and bottom line.
Manage Fit-To-Win (FTW) requirements from the Premium Retail channel and core customers, incorporate core FTW into initiatives and activations.
Bachelor degree required.
Digital and social-savvy.
Experience in digital marketing, 2+ years in similar role.
Beauty industry experience.
Strong collaboration skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and customer teams as well as external vendors and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience building, growing and optimizing customer engagement programs.
Self-starter and highly motivated; capable of working independently, yet collaboratively, within a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Exceptional project management, analytical skills and ability focus on key priorities in a constantly evolving market.
Strong leadership and consistent collaboration across multi-functional and customer teams.
Needs to demonstrate the ability to energize, engage and enable others.
Have strategic thinking, marketing mastery and executional excellence.
