MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the North American team, the role is responsible to lead the Wella Professionals (WP) Education strategy and curriculum content development. The role is to develop a strong GTM education model to compliment and strengthen all distribution channels (incl. Hair Salons, Independent stylists, Professional Stores and E-Commerce). The role is to partner with the NA & Global commercial and Education teams to deliver and execute a fit-for-use education strategy for the North American market place. The role will be responsible for Wella Professionals internal and external training (Full time Lead Trainers and Artists). This role is located in the Coty Professional Beauty headquarter in Los Angeles .
Collaborates with the NA Marketing brand Team, trade Marketing, and field Education teams to develop the education strategy and set priorities to enable best-in-class education classes, seminars and trainings tied to the marketing initiative and base business goals at all Education Touch Points (salons, stores, digital, studios, shows & Events, and schools).
Collaborates with the Global brand Education team to develop and recommend the ideas needed to make the brand a clear POD in the NA market.
Collaborates with field Education Managers to capture the needs for each trade channel and has a clear understanding of what classes and formats need to be developed and delivered at internal and IC trainings.
Stay up to date on competitive brands product launches and education initiatives.
Adapts and customizes all WP education curriculum (digital and analog) to various customer channels needs and requirements.
Organizes, writes and develops WP multimedia visual aids, and other educational and training materials.
Responsible for the ongoing capability and assessment for all Design Team and Top Artists.
Creates training materials, multimedia visual aids, and other materials needed for Capability development.
Presents and deploy brand initiative at NET and Sales Trainings/ meetings.
Contributes meaningful background to marketing meetings and focus groups used to qualify classes and education design as required
Participates and leads artists/ technicians at key events and shows

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, refugee, asylee or lawful permanent resident.
College Degree or Acceptable work related experience
Valid driver’s license, vehicle proof of insurance, and ability to drive and travel long distances for extended periods.
Knowledge/Experience of the Nail Professional Salon industry
Computer proficiency with SAP, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Work will be conducted in a standard office and manufacturing environment with associated distractions such as noise from telephones, keyboards, talking, paging systems, machinery and equipment. Temperatures are regulated by facilities management and are not within the direct control of the individual.
- Exposure to standard chemicals used in an office environment is expected and includes but is not limited to toner, glue and liquid paper, etc. Additionally, the incumbent may be exposed to chemicals used in the manufacturing process of nail lacquers, lotions, etc.
