JOB SUMMARY:

Business Sales Manager is responsible for the management of sell-in duties pertaining to their assigned accounts.

Main responsibility is to achieve financial goals at the individual retailer level as well as interface with the assigned account(s). Communication and partnership with sell through SDE’s to enable them to achieve retail sales targets. Work together with Business Sales Director in implementing the strategies of the company and providing a competitive presence at point of sale v/s the competition.

Duties Include:

  • Achieve/exceed the annual financial goals through direct and indirect retailer meetings.

  • Proactively negotiate all stock build orders for key consumption periods, corporate and local events.

  • Perform by door stock analysis monthly in preparation for monthly stock negotiations with retail partners buyers and planners

  • Provide new initiative forecasts to trade marketing internal partners as well as negotiation with retail partners

  • Manage communication and take action to resolve all ST field stock concerns

  • Strong Stewardship in managing of personal T&E budgets

  • Collaborate with BSD developing seasonal plans for assigned retailers

  • Communication-build strong relationships/partnerships both for Internal/external business needs/results.

  • Space and location (permanent and temporary) seasonal communication to ST Field

  • Communicate Coty standards and direction in-store via planned merchandising activities

  • Collaborate with Sales Development Executives (company peers who manage Brand Ambassadors on in store activities) on retailer and Brand Ambassadors needs for flawless execution.

  • Analyze retail sales performance weekly and react to trends by collaborating with BSD on plan of action by retailer/brand

  • Understand Market Share and Penetration, retailers stock to sales flow, weeks of supply and ratios

  • Store visits to collaborate with sell thru to gain perspective on competitive brands.

  • Internal and external meeting recaps

  • Communication of visual and event directives and deployment of results during and post activities to ST field and management

  • Allocation breakdown of seasonal tools by retailer by door (TOA’s, Samples, Testers, Blotters and Value Sets)

  • Support BSD and Trade Marketing in market week meeting preparation

Entrepreneurial Skills. Demonstrate capability in developing solid strategies and plans. Align, engage and support others. This position will fit an individual who has demonstrable strengths organizational and communication skills and a real 'urgency to get the job done'

Strategic Thinking. Ability to identify opportunities and prioritize projects. This position needs an individual who will strive to deliver not only the base line numbers but look for opportunities to deliver the stretch results.

Priority Settings. Must be able to clearly prioritize their work managing multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.

Collaboration. Proven ability to work effectively across functions and geographies, internally and externally, recognizing and leveraging the full diversity of Coty people and our partners to drive creative business solutions.

Communication Skills. Engaging and clear written communication and verbal presentation skills in English. The job will require regular high level contact with Senior Managers (Coty and retailers), where formal Business presentations will be expected, coupled with strong presentation/analytical skills.

Strong initiative and follow through. These skills are key for the role. Operates with Discipline and drives internal/ external partners to do the same.

In Touch. Capacity to understand the market trends/needs and competition to identify business opportunities and develop plans to grow share

Fluent in English is required, Spanish is a plus

Experience/Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
