PURPOSE

MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Description:

Provide financial support to Coty’s Consumer Beauty Division in the Americas, including retail sales teams, customer marketing teams, financial planning, and North America Leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare/Analyze Customer P&L submissions (TCI – Total Customer Investment), and provide timely updates on key measures/drivers with insights for customer profitability improvement and optimal return on investment

  • Provide financial support to business partners, mainly the sales organizations, including generating forecasts, distributing reports and managing customer spend/budget

  • Create analytical/forecasting models supporting Director or Managers within the Sales Finance Group or cross functional constituents

  • Monitor, track and proactively report business performance, identifying issues, opportunities and challenges on Gross Sales and customer investments.

  • Prepare various ad-hoc analytical reports and other presentations to aid senior management in decision making, systematically finding ways to be more efficient.

  • Work closely with cross-functional groups I.e. Sales, FP&A, Demand Planning, Brand Finance, Internal Audit and IT on key Company initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate in a highly focused, entrepreneurial environment and expected to challenge and influence business decisions based on fact based information and meaningful analytics.

  • Have the “owner” mentality and “can-do” attitude. Be pro-active, flexible and detail-oriented.

  • Must be a strong team player with excellent organizational and communication skills, highly motivated and eager to learn

  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills

  • Proactively identifying areas of improvement and standardization in processes and implementing methodologies that drive positive change. Lead change and embrace a culture of continuous improvement

  • Ability to work independently, under general direction, and develop creative solutions to problems

  • Good understanding P&L, knowledgeable of the month-end and accrual process preferred

  • Prior experience in Beauty industry preferred

  • Prior experience to support sales teams with budgeting, planning and forecasting preferred
