JOB TITLE: Media & Digital Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: Media & Digital, North America

REPORTS TO: VP, Media & Digital

LOCATION: New York

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The media coordinator is responsible for assisting the media and digital team in the development of media and digital strategies for the North American region, supplying the Brands with the tools that they need to execute local market strategy, and administrative support for the team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Most frequent duties in order of importance)

  • Agency/marketing meeting Coordination – currently 25-30% of our Digital Producer’s time

Research Tool(s) Management/Organization

  • Download and organization of white papers, charts, etc for easier retrieval and POV development.

Vendor Evaluation/Coordination

  • Be responsible for keeping “library” of inquiries for consideration

  • As needed, gather additional information on prospective vendor and set up appointments/interviews

Print Position, Added Value and Competitive Monitoring

  • Assist in organization of campaign execution and added value programs across all media

  • Monitor media and social channels and call out pertinent competitive activity

  • Verify print ads have run correctly by checking issues for placement and creative unit accuracy

Digital Analytics Data Runs

  • Develop reports within Adobe Site Catalyst to monitor site behavior for US local markets as it relates to active media/social/search campaigns

  • Check agency reporting for accuracy

  • Conduct adhoc reporting as required

  • Media Tracking Documentation

  • Manage the updates for COTY US internal repository for media campaign level information including but not limited to, buy detail, creative executions, performance, costs, and special notations

  • Support team with all administrative functions; invoicing, POs, expenses, travel, catering, calendars, presentations, archives, etc.

  • Manage a multitude of assignments at once and prioritize accordingly

Functional Interaction

  • Attend Internal Brand meetings, agency and vendor meetings to develop and advance knowledge of media and digital skills.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: (Academic, Professional, Relevant Job Knowledge)

4-year Undergraduate Degree in Communications or Related Field

1+ years of Digital Media/marketing and/or related experience
