Organisation

All three divisions operate independently. In total Coty Inc. has 22k employees and in Benelux approx. 300 employees.

The Sr. Key Account Manager position is part of the Consumer Beauty division, which represents approx. 50% of the Coty Benelux business. This division is focused on color cosmetics, mass fragrances, retail hair styling and body care, with the intent of providing consumers with innovative products primarily in the mass retail channel. Its iconic brand portfolio includes Rimmel, Max Factor, Bourjois, Sally Hansen, Miss Sporty, NYC, Guess, Playboy, David Beckham, Katy Perry, james Bond, MEXX, Wella and Adidas.

Sales organisation

The Benelux Consumer Beauty Sales organisation, consists of Field Sales, Key Account Management and Trade Marketing teams.

To build this team, Coty is now looking for a passionate and driven Sr. Key Account Manager.

POSITION PROFILE

General

Areas of responsibility

As a Sr. KAM you are responsible for building the business in a sustainable way with customers that will be dedicated to you. You will be responsible for achieving the financial targets that have been set. With your ownership, business acumen, agility and collaborative qualities, you have the possibility to drive the business to the maximum whilst learning to flourish in a fast moving international environment.

Your direct brand responsibility will be MaxFactor and Sally Hansen as well as you will have the full end responsibility of the total Color business of ASW BNL.

Your main tasks are:

  • Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with your customers.

  • Deep understanding of your business at your customer and deliver the results in line with the targets.

  • Full ownership of the complete P&L top to bottom and manage different variables effectively to improve the Gross-to-Net result at your customer.

  • Understand and implement the strategic priorities of the company at your customers

  • Translate company strategies into activation plans at your customers.

  • Make internal recommendations to improve the company and/or your business results.

  • Full ownership of the process from order to payment of your customer, in collaboration with a multifunctional team.

  • Effectively collaborate in a multifunctional environment with marketing, finance and customer supply.

  • Lead annual negotiations with your customer.

You will start with people responsibility in this role which means that you will have 1 direct report.

PERSONAL PROFILE

Education and experience

  • Master or Bachelor degree,

  • Experience minimum 4 years in a Sales role

  • Experience in FMCG/beauty industry is an advantage.
